Recommendation of books
I'm sorry I'm a bit lazy recently and I haven't updated my blog. Recently I am busy organizing e-books. Whether it’s paper books or e-books, I bought a lot but I haven’t read them yet. My habit of hoarding things is very bad.
Because of the epidemic, many people feel bored at home most of the time, and feel that there is no joy in life. Even if I know that what I am going to say next will offend many people, I still have to say it. Many people find it boring staying at home, because their lives are already boring, and they cannot enjoy their time alone. When you have a fixed hobby (not that kind of hobby like sleeping, shopping and shopping), I mean having a hobby that can make you have a deep sense of pleasure in the long-term (please check the psychological concept "flow" online), there is no need for someone to be accompanied all the time or engage in some ineffective social interactions all day long.
Okay, after making complaints for a long time, I will talk about the books I read recently. A book is about Wuzhao, the only empress of China. I read the Chinese version, which is translated. The author is an American. In general, I read English books from the original version, except for those involving Chinese history, because when I read the English version of Chinese history, I still have to translate English into Chinese in my mind and then think about the Chinese of that word and it would be annoying. It is better to read Chinese history in Chinese directly. This book is the most objective book I have ever read written by Wuzhao. Finally, there is a writer who doesn’t make so many unfair comments about her just because she is a woman. (I will put the link of the book at the end of the article)
Another book I want to read but I haven’t finished reading is "One Hundred Years of Solitude". This book is very classic. It can be said that it is a very famous book worldwide. I read the Chinese version a little bit when I was in high school (that I hadn't started learning Spanish at that time), but even in Chinese I found it very hard to read. A friend of mine told me that you must have gained some life experience to understand this book. I recently took out the original Spanish version of this book and I am going to read it carefully.
(I wanted to make the Chinese content of the blog simpler, but later I felt that I would just write the way I like, and made the passage look closer to what we really read in real life. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand the article now. Keep reading, learning is never a short-term process. Slowly but keep reading then you will find yourself understand more.)

单词(words)
(1) 冒犯(n.&v.)màofàn : offend, displease, offense
(得罪 (dézuì) is Synonym, but冒犯 is more formal)
(2) 吐槽(n.&v.)tǔcáo : complain, complaint (informal)
(抱怨(bàoyuàn) and 埋怨(mányuàn) are synonym for 吐槽,and 抱怨,埋怨can be formal, one detail to mention, 埋怨,“埋”here the pinyin should be “mán” in the phrase instead of “mái” when it’s pounced as “mái” usually it means “bury”. And “埋”is a 多音字(heteronym))
(3) 社交 (n.)shèjiāo:social interaction, social activities
I just miss sichuan food badly….😭😭(photos taken a few years ago)
